When I first heard that Abby was making a new record I was really excited to check it out. Then when I heard she was straying from her previous life as a troubadour to make a dark-wave album I was absolutely intrigued.

Fast forward a little bit and I heard she was looking for a home for her new album and I was beyond stoked to help her out. I have been a fan of her music for something like 20 years now and I think she has only gotten better with time. Abby’s musical evolution has coincided with her really finding her voice, so while I not only think this album is pretty dang great I also think it is incredibly timely/important.
